Eastern Plumas Health Care provides paramedic-level emergency ambulance service to the city of Portola and surrounding areas of Plumas and Sierra Counties. Our 24 Hour Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances offer extensive, urgent pre-hospital services to the critically ill or injured. We also provide non-emergency medical transport as well as stand by for sporting and other events. Each ambulance utilizes modern, advanced technology and equipment. In addition, Eastern Plumas Health Care’s paramedics provide mutual aid response to area ambulance and rescue squads.

All EPHC paramedics are licensed with the State of California and NorCal EMS and are highly trained in the areas of:
