Tom Hayes, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Plumas Health Care announced his retirement today after nine years with the Hospital District. Tom was instrumental in expanding local  specialty healthcare services and leaving the District in a strong position financially. “It’s time for me to retire, as I will be 71 next month,” he said. “I have enjoyed my nine years of service at EPHC and wish everyone – employees, medical staff, and the Board, nothing but success in the future.”

EPHC’s Board of Directors will begin to search for a new CEO immediately, with Interim Human Resources Director, Jayne O’Flanagan, leading day to day operations until a permanent CEO can be found.
