For a hospital in a rural setting, forty-five miles from any other healthcare facility, there is only one word to describe our level of care and service: remarkable. Looking at the quality and scope of services we provide, many had no idea that it could be done.

And of course, it couldn’t have been done without a strong administration, state of the art technology, and a caring, compassionate medical staff that is second to none. EPHC has also benefited greatly from the support and encouragement of friends and neighbors.

The community is growing, and we are growing along with it.

We like to describe ourselves as a small town hospital that gives big town quality care. When our patients talk about their nurses, they use words like caring, attentive and committed. When asked about their doctors, adjectives like personable, approachable and accessible come to mind.

This is a special place. A place for healing. Where else will doctors make house calls? Where else can your father’s cardiologist turn out to be your son’s soccer coach? Where else can you run into your physician in the grocery store, or see them smile and wave as they walk to work?
