Our Skilled Nursing Facilities in Portola and Loyalton offer both short term rehabilitation, including Medicare Part A post-surgical rehabilitation and therapy, as well as long term care. We provide the combination of quality and caring, individual attention that you've come to expect from us throughout your lifetime.
We encourage residents and their families to bring in personal items to make their rooms seem more welcoming, and we encourage family participation by organizing get-togethers and birthday parties.
EPHC's Skilled Nursing offers speech, occupational and physical therapy, and a regularly scheduled barber/beauty shop, as well as music and other entertainment in our common room. Residents get the best care possible, close to home, where they can benefit from the support of friends and family.
The beautiful surroundings, both within the facility and in the landscape outside, add to a feeling of well-being. Then, there is the secret ingredient to our success--our canine mascots, Maggie in Portola and Cider in Loyalton, who make sure there's always enough love to go around.
We also accommodate post-surgical rehabilitation, enabling patients to recover close to home, where they'll have their family and friends around them. Our Skilled Nursing Facilities are located at:
