May\u2019s Low-Cost Health Screening was so successful that the hospital has decided to continue with the monthly specials. Diabetes is a significant problem in Plumas County, and it seemed like a natural choice for the second month of low cost testing. Diabetics can have both a Fasting Blood Sugar and a Hemoglobin A1C test for only $25 total. <\/p>\n<p>No appointment is necessary, and you don\u2019t need to have been seen at EPHC previously to take advantage of this offer. Testing is available at the Portola Hospital every weekday in June, from 7:00 a.m. \u2013 10:00 a.m. Check in at hospital admitting. You can also be tested at your nearby clinic on the following days and times: Graeagle Medical Clinic, Tues. and Thurs. from 8:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m.; Indian Valley Medical Clinic, Mon. and Wed. from 8:00 a.m. \u2013 9:00 a.m.; and, Loyalton Medical Clinic, Mon. and Wed., 8:30 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Payment is due at time of service\u2014no insurance will be billed. You must be 18 years or older.
