Join the Eastern Plumas Health Care Foundation for an afternoon reception on Saturday, November 14thfeaturing locally inspired hors d’oeuvres, music and wine for the Dr. Christopher Stanton Scholarship Fund. It’s all happening at the Nakoma Resort from 2-5pm. Tickets are $100 per person, and the event ticket includes one glass of either red or white wine. A no host bar will also be available.
The menu includes Fall Harvest Fall Harvest Ratatouille Phyllo Cup, Monterey Bay Mini Dungeness Crab Cake with House-made Remoulade, Bison Black & Bleu Crostini, and assorted sweet and savory house-made pies. And a special ensemble of music will be performed by the Portola High School Band. Can’t attend the event? Who is Dr. Stanton and why is this scholarship so important? Dr. Stanton has been an icon in our community for both quality health care delivery and the importance of education. To acknowledge his outstanding service, the EPHC Foundation created the Dr. Christopher Stanton Scholarship to assist EPHC employees in their pursuit of advance education and certification.
The Foundation has awarded twenty scholarships to employees pursing advanced degrees in nursing, physician assistant, health information, radiology, and therapeutic massage. Your support will ensure that scholarship awards continue to be presented annually, fostering the development of the next generation of quality healthcare professionals in our world.
