Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Loyalton, Ca, May 6, 2024. Eastern Plumas Health Care (EPHC) has opened its new medical clinic in Loyalton. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion with tours of the new facility. The event will happen on Wednesday, May 15^th from 1 -2 pm at 701 Main Street in Loyalton. 

Aside from the clinic tours, the grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration will be an opportunity to connect with community members, win raffle prizes from Sierra Valley Home Center and redeem free lunch vouchers and snack pack tickets (first come, first served) from the participating Loyalton merchants: The Corner, The Frogs-Ty, White’s Sierra Station, and Leonard’s Market. 

“After much anticipation, we are excited to announce the grand opening of our new Loyalton Medical Clinic, said Doug McCoy, CEO of Eastern Plumas Health Care. “The new medical facility represents our commitment to expanding accessible, high-quality healthcare services in the Sierra and Plumas Counties.”

The clinic will offer a wide range of primary care services including adult and pediatric care, women’s health, hearing and vision screening, sports medicine, and sports, school, and employment physicals. 

EPHC operates a 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, ACLS ambulance service, three medical clinics, one dental clinic, two skilled nursing facilities, an acute care hospital, and a robust telemedicine program with a large range of specialist services. Providing comprehensive medical services for over 45 years, EPHC is a non-profit access hospital district.
