Eastern Plumas Health Care Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas A. McCoy as the new Chief Executive Officer for Eastern Plumas Health Care. McCoy will replace Acting CEO Jayne O’Flanagan who is retiring end of this month. McCoy will start transitioning into his new role mid-May 2020, with the two of them working closely hand in hand during the transition. The EPHC Board of Directors is immensely grateful for the energy, vision and compassion that O’Flanagan dedicated to EPHC during her interim role as Acting CEO.
As incoming CEO, McCoy has been the Market CEO of Kindred Healthcare for the last seven years and has a 20+ year career managing long-term acute and skilled nursing facilities. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Nevada Reno, is a certified Total Quality Management (TQM) Trainer, and a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator in Nevada.
With exceptional financial and operational skills, and a broad background covering clinical, marketing, management development, human resources, reimbursement, survey management and education, McCoy’s versatility will be a tremendous asset to Eastern Plumas Health Care.
Under his visionary leadership and with the support of the Board of Directors and administrative staff at Eastern Plumas Health Care, the facility is looking at prosperity and growth.
