Is transportation covered by Partnership?
Many Partnership members have transportation benefits. Coverage depends on eligibility, medical necessity, and authorization requirements. Our coordinator will assist in verifying benefits.
Is this service free?
Some rides may be covered by insurance when authorized. If not covered, private-pay options are available. Costs will be discussed prior to scheduling whenever possible.
Can I use this service for appointments outside of EPHC?
At this time, transportation is available for appointments at EPHC’s Portola, Loyalton, and Graeagle locations.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We recommend submitting your request as early as possible. Same-day availability cannot be guaranteed.
Can a caregiver ride with me?
In some cases, an approved caregiver may accompany you. Please notify us when submitting your request.
Is this an ambulance?
No. This is non-emergency transportation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
